Brews, Booze, & Reviews | Ep. 146 – Crushable Beers

In true BBR fashion we decide to tackle the topic of summer crushable beers that you could hammer back. Nox kept it at 5%abv or lower as the only solid rule, the rest was up for debate. We invited Cousin Torry back down to the dungeon, along with Beau F. the label master at Swing Barrel Brewing (and Beau’s Arthole) along with Scott and artist Kris, to discuss the topic of summer crushables, and have a good time doing it!

In this episode we sample and review Hofbrauhaus Seission Lager 3.3, a pair from Leinenkugels including their Session Helles and their Summer Shandy, Rolling Rock, DCR Brewing’s Kolsch and the Gang, three from Portage including their Zero Day Lager, their Coffee Cake Blonde Ale, and their Abstract Substance Table Beer, also sampling O’Dell’s Good Behavior Crushable IPA, and finally Mich Ultra Lime & Prickly Pear.
