Brews, Booze, & Reviews | Ep. 80 – Hefeweissens
How do you say Torulaspora Delbrueckii? We have NO IDEA, but it’s a yeast that gives unique flavors to Hefeweissens, which is what we are sampling today! Ya know, in the springtime, you want a refreshing, lighter beer to go with the budding of flowers and grass growing, don’t ya? What better example of that than the old stanby-by Hefes? In this super-sized episode we invite an old regular guest of ours, Don, back to the Dungeon for our first episode back since the pandemic took over our lives. We have a good time drinking Icewind’s Weissen Shine, Weihenstephaner’s Hefe Weissbier, Paulaner’s Hefe-Weizen, Utepils’ Ewald the Golden, Great Lakes Brewing’s Lemon Hefeweizen, and Fargo Brewing Company’s Life’s a Peach. Join us in raising our glasses to a good time!
