In 2003, Kyle Olson's father was diagnosed with short-term dementia that evolved into Alzheimer’s. His father was a handyman’s handyman. However, as he got older he started to lose the desire to do things because he couldn’t remember the next steps. His frustration was heartbreaking for his family to see.
Kyle Olson is helping in a unique way–by organizing and supporting the local Alzheimer’s chapter–but also by donating 10% of his realty sales commissions from every home he sells. He hopes to raise $100,000, and has named his personal crusade, “Closing for a Cure.”
