Consensus KC’s stated purpose is straightforward: to bring people together “to learn, to talk, and to find common ground for action.” And by “bringing people together,” the nonprofit organization means a lot of people – 50 to 300 – to participate in facilitated dialogues on often divisive policy issues that can range from immigration to the federal budget.
Heidi Holliday is the Executive Director of Consensus. She has extensive experience in community engagement, public policy, and nonprofit management. She previously served as Executive Director of the Kansas Center for Economic Growth in Topeka, Executive Director of the Rosedale Development Association in Kansas City and the Program Director for Rosedale Healthy Kids. Heidi holds a bachelor’s degree from Bethel College and a master’s degree in public administration from the Bloch School at the University of Missouri Kansas City. Heidi is a graduate of Wyandotte Leadership 2000.
